The Blood Moon Tetrad

4/14-4/15

Tonight there was a large drop of blood in the evening sky, and I was able to capture most of it on an HD camera. Of course, my camera isn’t a first class astronomical tool, but I’ll refer you to the scientists for that. What I have, are relatively crude, but honest images of the lunar eclipse, which was far more visible to my human eyes than it was to this HD camera. But what an experience! I was able to capture…something…. on this day, April 15th , year 2014. Year of the blood moon tetrad (that is, four consecutive blood moons).  And it turned a crimson hue, almost exactly the next day at 12:05-09 a.m from my vantage point here in California.

The Sun, Moon, and Earth has aligned half way, eclipsing half of the moon. The Earth, Mars, and the Sun aligned just last week

I think it should be noted that today is Passover, the Jewish holiday commemorating Israelite emancipation from Egypt. The other moons will appear on the Feast of the Tabernacles which celebrates their pilgrimage out of Egypt. The Spanish Inquisition drove the Jews out of Spain in 1493 during a blood moon tetrad, and there was one in 1967 when the Arab-Israeli war broke out, killing 24,000 people.  You can’t help but wonder what’s in store for Israel or the Jewish people throughout the world during this cycle. Is another conflict on the horizon for them? It seems more than coincidental that such events always take place during a blood moon tetrad.

There's approximately a quarter left of the moon. You can't see it, but the other 3/4s is crimson

What about the rest of the world? The Mayan prophesy about the end of the world is two years overdue, and there always seems to be another end time prophesy surfacing, before it fades away without coming to fruition. But we do have another one, and it’s from the bible, and it involves a blood moon.

“And I will show wonders in the heavens, and in the earth. Blood and fire and pillars of smoke. The sun shall be turned into darkness and the moon into blood, before the coming of the great and awesome day of the Lord.” Joel 2:30-31.

An entire eclipse. I don't know why, but my HD camera can't pick up the crimson color. It's almost completely black. You can see a faint oval object in the background if you look closely.

Pillars of smoke seems UFO related, and the sun turning into darkness and the moon into to blood definitely pertains to a lunar eclipse. Of course, lunar eclipses occur 0-3 times annually, but what makes this one special, is that it’s total and a tetrad. So it increases the likelihood that this is the year Joel predicted. That and the fact that major Jewish events occur on a blood moon tetrad.
